Weirdest job interview ever

Filed under: CV Resume — admin @ 1:57 am

In this economic crisis environment many people have lost their jobs lately and they are currently looking for a new one.

In this situation was a friend of mine who has been unemployed for the last four month. She received a call last week to attend an interview in order to hire her as customer service agent in a call center company. She didn’t remember to have send her resume to this company, anyway she tried to prepare for the meeting looking for information on the Internet. As she couldn’t find anything on this company she decided that she would dress in a formal way for the interview.

So the date came and my friend made sure she wouldn’t be late. She walk to the address she was given and arrived to the place half and hour earlier the appointment so she came into a bar to have a coffee in the meanwhile.

While she was drinking her solo coffee a women approached her and asked for a cigarette, mi friend answered politely that she doesn’t smoke and anyway that place was a non-smokers coffee shop. The woman started to yell at my friend’s face about civil rights and how governments are making laws to forbid everything.

As astonished as she was, my friend tried to calm down the unknown woman explaining her that she was not responsible for what politics do and there is non-smokers rigth to enjoy places where tobacco is forbidden. After a while, the woman calm down and left the place and my friend realized it was time to access the building in which she had been dated.

She asked at the front desk and a young man lead her to a big room where another 10 candidates where waiting. The man ask for CV and my friend gave him the one she had printed at home. Man told her to wait a few minutes in the waiting room.

Finally, she saw a woman coming right ahead to her and realized she was the same woman who had been talking to in the bar. My friend feared to have lost the chance to be hired because of their argue, however the women spoke kindly to her and ask her to come into her office. Once they both had taken a seat, the woman explained to my friend she was in her coffee break when saw my friend and recognized her as a candidate because of her job resume photo and decided to test her at the bar.

Woman told my friend that she had passed the test to be a customer service agent because she was good tempered opposite a person who has out of her grids and hired my friend who is not unemployed anymore.
