Resume and Cover letter are two general papers needed upon applying for employment. This two must go along. These two papers are the basis upon hiring a certain individual in the company. Since, companies don’t have any knowledge about anything in regards to the person that will be applying in their company. Somehow the resume and cover letter will help upon knowing a certain applicant. Usually, companies are not interested on the personal life of the applicants but rather on their personal qualities, knowledge, and skills. The companies are more focus on the educational background, good credentials, and achievement since, these are the aspect that will give them an assurance that a certain applicant can give a great contribution in their system.
It is very clear the companies are looking for people who can give good output in their systems or businesses transaction. With these concept, it is very advisable to the applicants to come a good write in their resume and cover letter. Just make sure that all the things that are written are true. In which, it is written with honesty because if you don’t, you still be the one who will suffer for the consequences of your action.

This concept was supported by the recent survey that was conducted by the CareerBuilder.com. The survey is about the importance of the present of cover letter upon applying employment. Around 2,546 hiring managers participated this survey. It has been found out that majority of the respondents will give importance to the presence of cover letter. In which, the job application will be forfeited with the absence of the cover letter.
Cover letter is very important because it will give the employer the intent of applying in their company. As well, it will help in connecting the dots of the previous employer to the future employer. Cover letter serves as a formal introduction of thy self upon applying employment in a certain company. Since, the cover letter and resume are the first thing that can be seen by the employer. Although, cover letter and resume are different but they are interrelated. There are some employers who have required of the presence of the cover letter but the standard rule of applying to a certain employer cover letter is truly significant.
