From: John smith [Jsmith@yahoo.com]
Subject: Regional Sales Manager (mtt-02/8755)
To: paul.watson@hilton.com
Dear Mr. Watson,
Having broken sales records and exceeded sales quotas in all my previous positions and recently completed my MBA in marketing from the School of Managerial Leadership at California State University, I am an ideal candidate for the regional sales manager position at Hilton Resorts in US and Mexico
As the leading sales representative for Disney Vacation Club, I developed key sales material, trained new sales reps, and reinvented the way club memberships are sold. My team's revenue was more than double the average for the entire operation.
The vacation club industry is a dynamic and growing industry, and I am convinced I can help Hilton grow its reputation and dominant position in the industry.
We should meet to discuss the position. I will contact you in the next 10 days to arrange an interview. Should you have any questions before that time, please feel free to call me at 901-111-2233 or email me. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Cordially,
John Smith

Dear Mr. Smith:
I am responding to your advertisement in The News (dated 1/20/03), regarding the Pharmaceutical Representative position. Please regard this letter as my formal application. Enclosed is my resume showing my education, experience, and background.
I have over 7 years experience in the sales and marketing field, and 3 years experience as a nurse.
Throughout my sales and marketing career I won top sales awards, and trained other sales representatives specific sales techniques to increase their sales. I enjoy working with the public, as well, demonstrating products, and educating others in their uses. I believe I would excel in pharmaceutical sales because I truly find sales a challenging and rewarding career; as well, my nursing background offers an advantage in better understanding the products I would sell.
May I arrange an interview to further discuss my qualifications? I am available for an interview at a mutually convenient time.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Mary Green

Dear Mr. Salis
I am enthusiastic applying for the internship your company is offering at the website of www.stepstone.it, for working in Spain
I’m a student at the University of Palermo with subject International Business Studies. My study concentrates besides economics on languages. I have chosen english and spanish. My area of proficiency in the main study is in the field of marketing and I’m going to finish my studies within the next months.
Working in a team and supporting others with their work ………… I’m also flexible with concentrating on urgent business, meaning setting priorities in work. As you will see from my résume I have considerable work experience.
I’m going to finish my studies in the next time and before of this I would like to do another internship in Spain. Because after that I’m going to look for a fixed job and I don’t know if there will be than any possibility to work in the foreign.
I like to gather more work experience and to deep in my spanish language. The internship would help me to reach these both objectives. I would like to work in Spain because I like to learn more about the spanish way of life and I like to become secure in speaking spanish because it is difficult to speak spanish if you just learn it at the University.
It would be if you would offer me the marketing internship. I like to start with it at the 3th of October 2003 and if possible for a period of 6 months. If the proposed date don’t suit you, please let me know, maybe I could arrange another period of time.
I hope to hear from you soon and if you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.
Yours faithfully,
Sara Calima
